connection between this artwork and my practice: 

This installation was created with burnt wood from a forest fire. Parker’s work is about the relationship between object and action.

As in my work I am concentrating more on the form and the materiality of the artworks rather than the concept, my works do aligned well with  Parker’s concept. What I find related to my work is in the from of the objects and why she has suspended them. It is questioning how suspending the objects can affect our feelings. 

Also I like to have this specific work to question what would happen if this installation was presented in other forms.
